The Virtual Festival
During the current Corona Virus epidemic, we are hosting a virtual Ipswich Jazz Festival on this page.
This is a collection of links to activities now offered by some of the fine musicians who have played at or who are due to play at the festival. Using phone, WhatsApp, Facetime, Skype and/or Zoom they offer a mix of tuition, online workshops, performances and more, so please support musicians and take advantage of a unique opportunity to play with and learn from some of the UK’s top jazz musicians – it’s one of the few silver linings in the cloud above us right now.
We are not charging for this nor are we paid any commission. Charges for lessons and workshops are for you to agree with the musician. Group sessions will of course be cheaper per head.
We’ll keep this page updated, so please do check it regularly.
If you are under 18, please check with your parents/guardians before signing up for an online lesson.
