Ma Bessie and her Blues Troupe

This seven piece group celebrate the songs associated with the Empress Of The Blues – Bessie Smith. Fronted by singer Julia Titus and featuring jazz great Claude Deppa on trumpet and Clare Hirst (ex-David Bowie) on saxophone, the band re-create the vaudeville sound of the 1920s and 1930s.
